Project description:
RKW Iffezheim is Germany’s largest run-of-river power plant and one of the largest such in Europe. The construction was already in an advanced state of progress when I came on board the project “Construction of the Fifth Turbine + Guide Current Turbine (Machine 6) for the Fish Pass”. This project was particularly noteworthy by the special foundation engineering and the underwater work.

  • Approx. 65,000 m³ of concrete

  • Installed capacity up to approx. 1 MW; annual generation approx. 8 million kWh/a
