Project description:
The nuclear power plant Olkiluoto 3 (OL3) in Olkiluoto, Finland, is a turnkey project of the AREVA NP – Siemens PG consortium. The construction works commenced in 2005; most work was completed by 2020. AREVA NP built the entire nuclear area of OL3, including the building structure. Finland’s new OL3 nuclear power plant is the first reactor of the type EPR (European Pressurized Water Reactor).

Services:

• Designing as part of the FCR (Field Change Request) team, developing solutions on-site in response to arising conflicts or need for acceleration/optimization measures
• Site supervision, including of steel works, special seals of building movement joints, radiation protection, physical protection structures and special structures
• Design coordination
• Quality control
• Occupational safety responsibility
• Contract negotiations, invoice checking
• Progress documentation
• Overarching building coordination of the various disciplines executed in the different buildings
